Summary

In this structured interdisciplinary education program, talented MD and PhD students will be taught in translational research bridging cutting edge technologies and novel approaches of basic research in the field of cellular and molecular biology to clinical applications. Selection of excellent and highly motivated applicants already at BSc grade combined with a one-year evaluation of the progress together with the structured educational program interconnecting clinical and experimental modules will allow fast track graduation and shorten PhD time. The individualized graduation program will combine MD and PhD programs and therefore will increase the skills for a future scientific and medical career as a clinical scientist that will amplify translation from bench to bedside.
