Summary

This new Z-project provides unique technological platforms accompanying clinical trials for a global immunophenotyping of peripheral leukocyte subsets. Based on extensive transcriptome data of cell types and diseases, cytometric profiling will be used to assess potential risks, success of therapy and to exploit the immune intervention for gaining novel insights into cellular responses in vivo in the human system. To analyze complex data sets generated by multiplexed cytometry and by global gene expression analyses appropriate bioinformatic support will be given and new tools for an automated clustering and a phenotypic annotation will be developed.
